ARPES Results of ’122’ Iron-based Superconductors

چکیده
The discovery of superconductivity in iron pnictides has attracted considerable interest of the condensed matter physics community [1]. The superconductivity has been observed in both 1111 and 122 system. These superconductors display a fascinating interplay between magnetism and superconductivity. Two kinds of techniques are mainly performed to study these materials. One is the neutron scattering experiments which show a spindensity-wave (SDW) ground state [3–5] in the parent compounds. The other is the angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES) is a powerful technique to study this material, which can show the details of the electron structure of this material [7–13, 16–20].

Superconductivity in 122-Type Pnictides without Iron
The exploration of superconducting iron-free pnictides with a ThCr2Si2-type or related structure and the study of their superconducting properties are important in order to get a deeper understanding of the pairing mechanism of 122 iron pnictides. Here we review the properties of 122-type iron-free pnictides superconductors with structures similar to that of BaFe2As2. Evidence of fully gapped n...

Unconventional Cooper pairing originating from spin or orbital fluctuations has been proposed for iron-based superconductors. Such pairing may be enhanced by quasi-nesting of two-dimensional electron and hole-like Fermi surfaces (FS), which is considered an important ingredient for superconductivity at high critical temperatures (high-Tc). However, the dimensionality of the FS varies for hole a...

The superconducting phase in iron-based high-[Formula: see text] superconductors (FeSC), as in other unconventional superconductors such as the cuprates, neighbors a magnetically ordered one in the phase diagram. This proximity hints at the importance of electron correlation effects in these materials, and Hund's exchange interaction has been suggested to be the dominant correlation effect in F...

Less than two years after the discovery of high temperature superconductivity in oxypnictide LaFeAs(O, F) several families of superconductors based on Fe layers (1111, 122, 11, 111) are available. They share several characteristics with cuprate superconductors that compromise easy applications, such as the layered structure, the small coherence length and unconventional pairing. On the other ha...

We review our angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) results on different layered oxide superconductors, and on their insulating parent compounds. The low energy excitations are discussed with emphasis on some of the most recent issues, such as the Fermi surface and remnant Fermi surface, the pseudogap and d-wave-like dispersion, and lastly the signatures in the ARPES spectra of mult...
